Description
The Rns collet is a copper-made component that holds a TIG tungsten electrode during welding. It's the most common collet style, and is split into two sides that squeeze together to grip the tungsten when the back cap is tightened. The collet also conducts the welding current.
Features
- Standard collets hold tungsten electrodes in place in TIG torch setups that have a standard collet body or gas lens
- They also create a point of electrical contact between the torches and the electrodes so that current can flow to the electrodes
